This programme develops specialists capable of applying sustainable development principles within organisations and becoming national or international leaders. Combining environmental engineering, manufacturing engineering, and business, the programme provides interdisciplinary knowledge in sustainable management, risk control, and systems analysis, alongside the skills to implement responsible changes that help organisations tackle global challenges.

These studies focus on creating cities that not only survive but thrive in the face of change. Smart technologies, sustainability, engineering, and entrepreneurship merge into a single whole – students learn to develop solutions that help cities become greener, more resilient, and smarter. Studies are conducted in a hybrid mode: online lectures are combined with local experiments and a month-long internship in European organisations.

Joint doctoral studies in Environmental Engineering by KTU, VMU, and the Lithuanian Energy Institute train high-level scientists capable of solving environmental problems and creating sustainable solutions.
