“Expo 2020 Dubai” the annual investment meeting (AIM) “Investment in Sustainable Innovation for thriving Future” was held, which was also attended by APINI director prof. dr. Žaneta Stasiškienė. There was a strong focus on smart future cities, with a seminar featuring presentations by politicians, researchers, city leaders and businesses.
“We are also very pleased with the new partner, SEE Institute Dubai, which is considered the brains of Dubai’s “The Sustainable City” project. We discussed the possibility of joint research and study programs with the head of the institute, Dr. Jasmina Locke. At the end of this year, the SEE Institute will celebrate the housewarming at the district of “The Sustainable City”, and the building will meet all 𝘡𝘦𝘳𝘰 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘣𝘰𝘯 requirements. This is very similar to what KTU aims with the M-Lab project “, – Prof. Dr. Ž. Stasiškienė shared her impressions.
